Cavaliers still the leaders in re-signing LeBron James

A source has told the Cleveland Plain Dealer that despite all the crazy rumors that have circulated throughout the NBA world during the last few weeks, the Cavaliers still have the best shot at re-signing LeBron James to a maximum contract.

James re-signing with Cleveland will give him a guaranteed extra year on his contract, allowing him to make $25 million more than any other team can offer.

LeBron will turn begin seeing organizations on Thursday, July 1st.

I think the Knicks telling him yesterday that they feel Joe Johnson is a better fit and better player was kind of a reality check for him.

It’s similar to the dude that breaks up with his girlfriend and then goes out on the prowl to get all sorts of new ass, but his options aren’t as sweet as he had hoped they might be. He ends up crawling back to his GF and tells her that he sort of underappreciated her a little bit, he’s sorry, and asks her to take him back.

Although everyone and every web-site (some more than others) have gassed this guy up to no end… he should hopefully realize that his first love is still his best woman.

(Yes, I just called Cleveland a woman.)

Come one, I pale in comparison to Calvin. And wait till you get Lee Herman on here talking about Nate Robinson…

  4. Calvin says:

Oh man, I dont even blame Lebron for this(well, yes I do), but this rumor talk is killing me. Especially all these “sources” who hide in shadow while poor Lebron suffers the consequences of your evil, source-like powers.

You sources should at least have the courage to stand up for what you believe in. Where were you sources at Neuremberg or during Pearl Harbor? Discussing who George Mikan had lunch with? Name yourselves, I say.

Elbron is loving this! NBA Primetime has more sources than a sorcerous! In fact, I think Nick is looking into changing the name to “NBA Sorcerous”

Can you imagine Russell, Magic, Bird, Jordan, or even Kobe bringing this type of circus attention to themselves and belitting the game like this game? It never happened and under no circumstance would it ever happen. Because each of them love and respect the game.

Can we all finally admit that Elbron is bad for the league and the game?

There is only one superstar payer in history that I can think of that would approve of Elbron’s tactics and self-marketing of his brand………….

Ah, Wilt is smiling down on all of this from Purgatory.
