“A source told Alan Hahn of Newsday that LeBron James informed the Knicks that he has not made up his mind and is ready to hear their presentation on Thursday.
Hahn describes “backchannel assurances sent to Knicks that LeBron hasn’t made any decisions. Very open to listening to their pitch.”
Maybe Isiah has something to do with it?
“Former Knicks’ president and head coach Isiah Thomas advised LeBron James to sign with the Knicks as a free agent.”Go to New York,” Thomas said. “It’s the biggest stage.”
Thomas feels James’ presence in New York would be good for the game of basketball.
“I think that the interest in him in New York and in the league and everything else would just take the NBA to a higher level.”
Thanks Isiah. Now if you could only keep the people at BSPN from hating on the Knicks as well, that’ll be all.

So let me get this straight:
Lebron told the Knicks TODAY that they have a chance, and the Knicks reply was “thanks, but no thanks we think Joe Johnson is better”??????
I’m confused.
bottom line: the knicks need to hire someone to assasinate eddy curry so they can offer three max deals…hurry though, offer is only available for the next 24 hours!
For some reason I just see the Knicks failing to come through once again, or should I say just not being able to exceed expectations. If anything, I see them re-signing D Lee and signing Joe Johnson…that’s not going to win you any rings any time soon.
